AMAGGI takes part in IFAMA 2025 with a lecture on ESG in agribusiness

AMAGGI's Director of ESG, Communications and Compliance, Juliana Lopes, will be one of the speakers at the 35th annual edition of the IFAMA (International Food and Agribusiness Management Association) World Agribusiness Conference. The event will take place from June 22nd to 26th, in Ribeirão Preto (SP).

The IFAMA 2025 World Conference will bring together approximately 600 people, including executives, academics, producers, researchers and opinion makers from more than 50 countries to discuss trends, challenges, new food production technologies and sustainability proposals.

Juliana Lopes will be on panel 02, on June 25th, whose theme will be "Driving Sustainability: Commitment to ESG in Agribusiness".

"It will be an opportunity to address how ESG policies are implemented in agribusiness and how that process took place within AMAGGI. The sector has particularities, including looking at specific points", says Juliana.

For the director of ESG, Communication and Compliance, companies need to see challenges as opportunities with direct results for the business. "We need to discuss trends globally and how agriculture can and needs to prepare for the coming decades," she adds.

In addition to lectures and discussion panels, IFAMA's program will include workshops on sustainable practices in agribusiness, technology exhibitions and technical visits to model farms. The idea is to show the role played by Brazil in global food production.
